The building was designed and built by Tadao Ando and then donated to Osaka City. The honorary director is Dr. Shinya Yamanaka, the Center for iPS Cell Research and Application, Kyoto University.
This is a three-story building.
Construction by Takenaka Corporation.
It is located on the west side of The Museum of Oriental Ceramics, Osaka, designed by Nikken Sekkei Co., Ltd., and on the east side of Keihan Railway Naniwabashi Station which is designed by Ando.
